Currently works as an Outreach Specialist with Lake County Peacemakers where he is involved in preventing gun violence and mentoring high-risk individuals.  

He is also full time at Microsoft via Tech System at their AI Data Center, working as a level III Data Technician. 

In addition, Hector is a National Chess Champion with his own organization, Chess for Champions Academy, partnering with Waukegan Public Schools and the STARS after school program teaching children the game of chess including life skills. 

He also serves as the Chess Club President at the College of Lake County.
