If you like to discuss books with others, visit locations that are of importance to the author, or have the opportunity to chat with the author, the Park Place Traveling Book Club is for you.
We will travel from Park Place to Northwestern University with Dr. Njoki McElroy, author of "1012 Natchez". Dr. McElroy was a professor at Northwestern University and will be doing a book reading at the African Studies Library on campus.
Dr. McElroy will be signing books for members of our Club. After the reading, we will enjoy a great Caribbean/Soul Food meal at Jennifer's Edibles in Evanston, Illinois. Books will be available for purchase $10 at the Park Place Gift Shoppe during regular Park Place business hours. Lunch will be on your own.
